the World Wide Web. I was amazed it was about the coolest thing ever. My brother, little brother at that was the one that introduced me to it. I went to stay the night (getting a break from kids) with him and his then wife Lisa. They got me on, then on ICQ, my first ever chat place that I got to talk to people from all over the world. To me a little country girl it was amazing! When I think about it I still get amazed that I have people from all over that I get to talk to and learn about them and their country. I actually stayed on all night! lol What is your first memory and how did you come about getting on the web?

I started using the computer at 3 but cannot remember when I accessed the internet for the first time. I remember when I was on neopets and I had my mom send in a letter to let me on the forums haha because we needed parent's permission, I had to be like 8 or so.

I remember my first computer and the internet. I got on through AOL and Netscape. I remember those ICQ chats also. I was amazed at how things were. That I was able to get online and check out the entire world. It was wonderful. But then I got more into it and things got better. I had that computer, then I got a Webtv for christmas one year, the I decided after about a few years that I wanted a Mac, and I never looked back. I love all my Apple products. Now I feel as if the internet has been here all my life. That I also find amazing.

LOL! Yep AOL was the bomb back then, I think everyone had it or so it seemed! Funny how things change. I have never had a Mac but have heard good things about them. I just started getting used to my laptop. I don't like change! lol

@Ithink I hear you. I know people like that. But I needed the change. And believe me I do not regret it one bit. I love my Mac and all my Apple toys. And like you, I don't want change.

@Ithink those owls live here in the winter. Hubby took the photo. I got it at home in 2002 when I moved in with my hubby. I had just used it at work before that.

I bet that was great and you were very excited. My kids all bought their first desk top or lap top and they later bought a desk top for me. I thought I am not going to use that thing. But I signed on and loved it. And the rest is history.
