A pleasant surprise in the mail today

Over recent years I have managed to travel quite regularly, both here in the United Kingdom and overseas. This provided me with the opportunity to find postcards in many places last year, which I sent to a few friends here at Mylot. However, due to health issues which have made me too weary to travel, this all ended in January this year. Much to my surprise, the postman delivered the above shown postcard today, along with the usual bucketful of junk mail of course. It is very thoughtful of @Jeanniemaries to send this, especially at a time when she knows that I will not be likely to return the favour in the near future.

That's nice! I still remember you recounting your reaction to Kinnie and pastizzi, better than any postcard

@pgntwo At least Campari is useful after visiting the dentist. After all, it is A Per A Teef.

This is a beautiful postcard Barry. I did not know that the flower of Alaska is the "forget-me-not", such a nice little flower.

@Asylum My Godsister sent me a Birthday card about twelve days back now and I still have it on display. Nothing like a real card to lift your spirits and she always remembers me too.
