Mylot: Do you copy ideas from Mylot members?

Is it consider plagiarism?
It just so happened that it comes to my mind lately about this one.
And today, I saw few Mylot members who happen to have the same ideas as the others but they have different thoughts about it.
Did you observe this too?
Your thoughts, please.

Not really, but sometimes a member discussion will spark a discussion idea in me.

I have gotten inspiration from other members here, but never copied them word for word or anything like that.

Though I don't consider this as plagiarism but I'm not copying ideas. I have limited time here to copy ideas for my discussions. I can only post three to five discussions a day.

Yeah, like all you want is to have your own original discussion and someone will just copy your ideas without acknowledging you for that.

If a member's discussion inspires me to start a discussion, I make it a point to make a mention abut that member/discussion in my post.

There really isn't an original idea anymore. At least, that is what I think.

So you think someone will always copying our ideas no matter what it is?

@JustBhem As we are entitled to our own opinions, some will be different from others, some will be the same. But even with the same exact thought, we all have our own words to express these thoughts. You and I can share the same opinion about the excitement of Christmas . . . but we might have different experiences that we would write about.

On a site like this we often bounce off each other. We read something and realise we have experienced something similar, so decide to give our perspective on it. Nothing at all wrong with that. And they do say that there is nothing new under the sun. Plagiarism is copying someone else's work word for word.

@JustBhem People don't own ideas, so no I don't think it's copying if you put your own personal slant on it. What I do if I write something as a result of reading someone else's post is to mention where the idea came from, and will include the link to that post.

When it comes to mylot one thing that everyone probably writes about is mylot earnings... whether it's how much they made in a day or a month, how it can be done, etc. So, in a way it's like we are copying each other... still it's coming from us in our own words.

I like to be original so the very thought that someone would suspect me of copying their ideas is truly mortifying. - and that is the reason why I usually check the recent discussions first before posting mine. Naturally with hundreds of posts coming out every day - there would be those with similar topics, some are coincidental and some are not. On the very few occasions that I have written a discussion triggered by someone else's - I have made sure to mention the member's name and the title of the post. it would also be prudent to wait at least twelve hours or more before posting that discussion. Right now I have at least 12 discussions - in waiting - which I have put aside since the beginning of October because there was similar content already posted.
