Don't You Just Hate Click Baits?

As I have said before I love doing research on History and unexplained phenomena etc. Well while doing research online, there are some adverts or links that say something that grabs one's attention.
Things like “Look What They Found In Egypt, It Changes Everything in the History Books” So you click on it, only to be taken to an advertisement site that does not discuss anything about the topic.
I have noticed that Facebook has a lot of these click baits as well. Last night I came across one on Facebook. It said…..
“They Found A legendary Mythical Shark In Mediterranean Waters” So I clicked on it. I was thinking that it may be an interesting thing to see as I have watched animal shows where they show animals that they thought were extinct, which are not extinct.
Take a guess at where I landed. The site it took me to was one of these
“Get rich quick pyramid schemes”
The question is why people can’t be truthful with the titles and links. Why do they need to lie?
Have you come across any click baits before?

People who do that I would never be able to trust in real life, as they are deceiving everyone.
