Friendship bond bracelet: Did someone gave you something like this?

Hello mylotter friends! How are you doing today? 
I hope you`re feeling good today despite of crazy weather in your respective places 
I woke up so early with a cold weather and reminded me of my teen childhood days about a special friend of mine who happened to have an "Epileptic sickness" I`m not a friendly person but if someone comes to approach me with kindness, I also give time to talk and met this friend of mine at the park one day while waiting for my game on summer sportsfest in our village
She was a simple, nice and shy type of person but I was glad that she approached me. I never thought that her life would be so short 
One morning her nanny had been waiting at the park alone where we usually meet with a sad face and said " Sorry! It was a sudden that your friend had to leave the world but she had finished a friendship bond bracelet (similar bracelet in the photo she made on her own) and left an instruction to give it to you" 
I guess you all know how I felt that time but I realized that it was better for her because she suffered a lot having that kind of sickness
How about you? Did you have a friend who made a bracelet or something and gave it to you?

I know about the "Friendship bands" It was a raze in my time as a teenager and still is for the present teenage generation. We used to buy a bunch of them and give to all our good friends on Friendship Day. Schools and colleges.you can find kids wearing them on their hands.

@m_audrey6788 Yeah! It was cool wearing them when I was a teenager. It also kind of shows off how many friends you have got who loves you.

My seventh grade year I was harassed by my peers due to a criminal family member, I was threatened and had ridiculous letters and pictures put in my locker. well one day this little boy whom I knew only from my bus, we shared no classes and were never in the same place at the same time he was ADHD and was in special ed for it, so outside of the bus we never seen each other. However everyone there knew who I was because my cousin along with my house and family were in the news almost every night. well his name was Billy Ray and he seen me sitting by the office head in my hands crying over it and waiting on my mom to come get me, he sat down and tried to cheer me up offered to be my body guard which was funny because he was have my height. when my mom got there and I got up to leave he started to walk away then turned and ran behind me to give me the bracelet he wore every day he said it was his promise that nobody would make me cry again. If he hadnt been so much younger than me I may would have fallen in love with him simply because he could have walked past me like everyone else but he didnt and he didnt just speak he sat with me and waited on my mom to get there so I wasnt alone.

@ramapo17 Wow, really. The friends I made when I was at that age in primary grade are now living far from me. Though once in a while she goes home to our hometown and we still are friends. Although, not as close as during those childhood days

You are absolutely right. I have friends that I made when I was 9 years old and we are all 75 now. That is a long time and when we get together, we still act like we did way back then. Good friends are very hard to find but to find a good friend, one has to be a good friend in return.

Thanks! It was a memorable thing for me as she was too young to leave but better than suffer here. Yes, during my teenage times. I saw a lot of teens wore those stylish bracelet as many as they can

@HazySue Yes it`s sad and I was shocked that time That`s why I buried that bracelet at the back of our house and just move on be happy for as she always tells me not to worry about her

We had friendship knot bracelets at Girl Scout Camp when I was a kid. They were made of rawhide. I loved mine.

Yeah. I had a collection of friendship bracelets. It was a thing that we gave each other when it was time to move to college. And college friends gave friendship bracelets as a souvenir of our ... well, friendship.

Never exchanged bracelets or anything like that but I still have friends from long ago even though we don´t give each other things.

You are very lucky at least to have a friend like that. None of my classmates became close friends of mine.
Unfortunately, None of them gave me a bracelet like that. She didn't die alone, because she lived her life with a friend like you.
