Worklife balance : Have some tips?

Ever since i started working, i am not able to balance work and play. Now that i am married, it got more complicated. Hope you have tips my dear fellow myLotters.

Make sure to not take it seriously. You can focus on your work but make sure you can request for a PTO and go out.

I know how difficult to manage work from being married than single as you always have to consider time for your husband and kids at all time. That`s why you have to make sure that you start at work early and go home on time and have atleast a talk with them before bed time or you can have a good rest and free yourself from work on weekends and go out with them

I struggle with this too. But some jobs are just simply more demanding then others. I try not to sign up for more overtime than I absolutely need to and keep my social calender as busy as I can.

Thank you for the advise even if i also dont sign up for overtime, i still have 3 hours travel time from work to home.

Yeah that's common scenario. But always remember to not neglect yourself. Give yourself, your most needed "me time" Too much stress and work, makes you grouchy hehehe and a grouchy you doesn't help in having a loving relationship with the people around you. Don't get yourself overworked. A better and happier you will also make a better and happier family. As they say, you don't find the time, you make it!! So, I hope you make the time to do something you enjoy alone, with your friends or your family.
