I Just Want To Protect It

I have casings for my past mobile phones but after a week, I don’t use them anymore. That is why, the one I had for two years, which is a Samsung Galaxy Core, always slips from my hand and fall on the floor. So far, it hanged recently, after falling for about 10 times already. Now, I have a new phone which is partially free from my phone service provider since I renewed my contract last Wednesday. I actually researched for this phone before finally deciding that it is the mobile phone I like to have even if I paid about $192 for it . Thanks @nitirrbb7 for your advise, but still it’s the phone I want after the customer representative told me that the screens of phones can break when it fall face down on the floor. So, I have it now and as you can see on the first picture it’s thin, which is one feature I like. However, as you can see in the next picture I bought a casing for it and on the next picture a ring for me to hold it from the back when I am using it so it won’t slip. In addition, I bought a tamper protection for its screen. Funny, it doesn’t look that thin anymore because of the casing. But I just have to protect it well. What about your phone? Do you have a casing and other paraphernalia for it too?

Oh so you are using Smart like me? Smart also called me up to offer a free phone since I have a plan 1200 but I am still thinking it over.

No, it's Globe for me. Actually, my plan is only 599. It was formerly just 499 , but the lowest now is 599, so I have no choice. I am not even able to completely use the 499. So, I would always call so I can consume it.

@louievill At Globe, you cannot downgrade your plan. So, at Smart, it can?

But do you think I have overdone it? I bought the tamper protection for the screen, the casing which is shockproof and the ring for my finger to hold while I am using it.

I used to have a ring but I got rid of it as I find them cumbersome. I have several cases for my iPhones and one is a very slim one. The other is a leather case with slots for my cards. I've dropped my iPhone several times but it doesn't have a single scratch on it. Have you used a tempered glass? If you haven't yet, consider getting one but please do get the original one and not the cheap imitation ones that cost only P100. It won't last long.

@toniganzon I didn't see the brand . But I trust the man and his wife because they are kind and the only one who has the casing for the J7 Pro since it was just released this October. I kidded him that if ever it will easily gets broken, I will go back and confron them. To which he said , okay po mam.

Yes I bought the tempered glass also. There were actually two types, the firat one was a whole face temered glass that even the sides of the phone will be covered so as it will not be scratched. But I only choose the one that covers the screen only. It's for 400 . The whole one was for 700. I love the ring. It really gives me a firm grip of the phone.

I do protect my phone as well =) I have a glass tempered glass & case. I always switch up the cases though! The tempered phone glass is definitely handy, right now my glass is broken but the phone screen isn't shattered thankfully.

@infatuatedbby The tempered glass is one tool we need for the protection of the phone's screen. If it is broken, at least it is a lot cheaper to just buy a replacement.

So you mean it's the tempered glass that is broken ni the phone. screen itself. Why, did it fell?

Are you trying to mean that ring at the back of the casing I have? That's a separate one indeed and it is what will ensure that your phone will not fall because you have one of your fingers gripping the ring. I recommend it to everybody.

@fishtiger58 No, I bought them after getting my phone from my phone provider. The casing, the ring and the tamper protection were bought at a cellphone accessory store. Since the J7 pro came out here July 2017, the only store who has the casing is that one where I bought the 3 protections.

Me too. It's just that this phone seem to have a breakable screen as reveiws have it. So, because i really , really like it for my phone, I haveto buy these protections even if they cost me almost a thousand , all in all. Good thing, your phone doesn't fall nor slip from your hands acidentally.

@AkoPinay I suppose with the iPhone7 and the 8th nearly out, the iPhone5s look is already so outdated. And I know the newer version's quality is a lot sturdier so even if it falls many times it will still be fine.

@SIMPLYD I guess iPhone 5s (gold) quallity is better than the latest iPhones. After falling many times it still fine. I am extra careful with my cheap android. I guess it will die after one fall.

Yes, finally indeed! And after all the trepidations, I was convinced that It is the phone for me. But honestly, I like it so much. The features are amazing. I still haven't discovered yet all the features. I am afraid I might go wrong in touching some buttons. I already encountered the split screen while I was playing a game I downloaded. I hate it because I don't know how to make the game in full screen since tt's split. Do you you kñow how please?

@nitirrbb7 I got it.. I just put OFF the split screen view. Thank you. Though I think I need it sometimes, especially when I am playing a game and our daughter or my husband texted. he he he I will experiment to have it in Split screen and see how to close it just as you told me to.

That is nice to know that your phone is well protected too. ACtually, sometimes I take it out of the case and transfer the ring to my phone. I like the ring so much because it gives you a real grasp on your phone while you are holding it to call and to text.
