Well they seem like old fashioned names.. and I like the name Victoria, I have a cousin with that name..
I don't like that people pick names with no meaning to them, these days. I think just randomly picking one is eh.
Not sure why my mom picked my name, and I've never liked it but its way better than Trixie which my "dad" wanted to name me. My brother, is named after him

Did any of you or siblings have nicknames growing up or were you just called by your name?

She was quite creative when choosing the names. Most tend to stick to themes when choosing their names.

@amadeo haha and most of those names were come from my grandmother. Actually my mom was kinda deprived of choosing names for us. So poor mom!

I came from a family of eight children.
My children's names have a botanical theme (although my son's name isn't spelled in a botanical way). My daughter's names are also the names of colors as well as plants.

These are all good solid names.
Our son's name is Jonathon, named after my Dad, John. Our son dropped the last part of his name and goes by Jon.
Michael and Julia are very popular names in my family, and there seems to have been at least 1 in every generation.
My mother-in-law had 4 boys and all of their names start with "R". Our last name has 10 letters in it, so back in the day when there were phonebooks, you'd look up our name, and there was only room for the first initial beside it. We used to get calls for each other, it was funny, we'd play with some of the callers at times.

Pretty good I'd say @amadeo . My Dad named all of us. Mine (Nanette) was from a Russian female spy. Under me; Sherry Dee, then Ken Brian, then Debbie Dee, then Sue-z and finally Mark-E. Only one of us had a middle name and that was my brother Ken Brian.

I couldn't make up my mind on what to name my daughter @amadeo , sooooooo she got stuck with Elizabeth Ann Maria Christina. Everybody still just calls her Lisa. I wanted to originally name her Anunka; which was after an Egyptian princess, but I figured everybody would screw up the spelling.

I think your family names are quite Italian, from what I observe.
