November just arrived. and I'm already thinking of what to cook for Christmas eve. after we go to church we always have something to share with the family at Christmas eve.
I'm thinking of pastas and chickens
and grilled pork..
hhmmm .. I hope I could come up with a good one this year.

For many years, we've had our big dinner on Christmas Eve, then eat leftovers after opening gifts on Christmas morning. We always have the same menu: turkey, ham, mashed potatoes with gravy, dressing, sweet potato casserole, broccoli casserole, Watergate salad, fried cornbread, deviled eggs, and several desserts.

@pitsipeahie in personal i would really love to make macaroni or fruit salad. but the majority in our house hold don't eat salad so I think if I'm going to make one. I'll make just enough for those who will eat it .

We don't do special Christmas eve dinners.. but we always had roast beef and mashed potatoes for Christmas, until the last few years when we've been having lasagna instead.

I think it is too early for me to think about what I am going to cook for Christmas eve.

yeah that's right but I like to prepare early so I won't have to rush things when it's coming.
