Funny and interesting question on the radio today

I always listen to one of the local radio stations when I am at work. Every morning they have a different discussion going on. This morning their question was "What is the weirdest or worst thing that your dog or other pet has ever eaten?" There was anything from eating out of the liter box to eating hay to eating soap and the list goes on and on. Some of them were pretty funny.
If you have pets what is the weirdest or worst thing they have ever eaten? One of my cats loves it chew on plastic bags and he loves to olives and potato chips and just about anything else. Nothing too bizarre though.

When we first got our dog 2 years ago, she preferred the baby's diapers to dog food. We had to be really careful that she didn't get into the garbage and snag one.
Still, one day I discovered she had vomited a complete diaper in the backyard.

I agree. We eventually got her trained by setting a dirty diaper in the middle of the room and telling her, "no!" every time she went near it.

I think of my Norwegian Elkhound dog, when I was a teen. In our backyard, I found the coolest, biggest moth I've ever seen . . . it was fuzzy, and it's eyes looked owl-ish or even hawk-ish (like a bird). And it was HUGE. He was on the ground under a shade. So I went in to tell my sister about it . . . and when we both came out, my dog had gotten to it. It tried to escape, but my dog's hunting instincts kicked in . . . the moth didn't have a chance. And yep, my dog ate the moth .

Fifi used to eat tissues. My husband said it was so she didn't have to wipe when she did her business.

Yeah. Our neighborhood is very mean when it comes to killing dogs here. They are going to feed them with poison.

Your post triggered a memory from my childhood. My Mom, brother and I were pulling carrots from the garden, and our cocker mix kept sneaking up behind us to grab one. She loved them!
Several years ago, I was peeling potatoes over a trash can. I walked away for a minute and returned to find my cat sitting in the can, on the pile of peelings, having a feast!

Both of them are really odd stories but really funny. Who would ever think a dog or cat would eat such things.

Cat poop -check. grass -check. throw up- check Paper - check. The weirdest one is one of my dogs love coffee. Did have milk in it, but first time where I have to worry about where I put my coffee because she will thieve it.

When I was younger, we had dogs who liked to dig used sanitary napkins out of the bathroom trashcan and go to town on them. My parents' chihuahua does the same thing if he can get in the bathroom.
One of my parents' dogs, (also a chihuahua, but a fat one with longer hair who is probably mixed with something else) once inhaled a cupcake wrapper. My brother held it out to her to let her lick some frosting off, and she just hoovered it up before he could pull it away from her. The family was very anxious about whether she would be able to pass it or not and kept a close eye on her in case she needed to go to the vet, but she pooped it out with no problems.
I also had a cat once that ate dental floss and had to have help pulling it out the other end when he pooped it out. Oh, and once I had a cat who ate our goldfish.

my dog loves to chew plastic...and one day we washeda plastic pill pot... quite a big one then gave it to him to play with... the next thing we see is sillica gel chrystals everywhere... and him trying to eat them... when he chewed the lid it came apart and there was a sachet of them in the lid.. fortunately we stopped him ... he didn't come to any harm

Be careful on the plastic bags that your cat chews on @Happy2BeMe . Not only are there deadly chemicals on the bags but if they rip a piece and swallow it, it can cause a twisted intestine.
