Yes, I visited Prairie Dog Town state park in southeastern Montana this past July. I have been there several times. We stop there every time we head west from Michigan. Here is one of my pictures.

Yes, and I've seen most of them smothered all over the highway and out in fields. They are all over in Colorado.

South Dakota seems to have a lot of prairie dogs. In some places you are allowed to feed them, but other places have signs discouraging it.
