"Rent A Friend" that is the website that I learned about earlier this week by chance. I was watching videos on YouTube and in the side bar where other videos sit, I saw a video about renting a friend. It made me curious and I watched it. A woman was telling about her experiences with the site.
Then I searched it and found the site. People can rent a friend for an event. If you are alone and traveling to a big city and need someone to show you around, you can rent a friend for a day. If you need someone to go to a party or special event because you are alone and nobody you know can go, but you want to go with someone, you can rent a friend for an afternoon or evening.
The people who have profiles on the site charge a fee. It is a strictly platonic site. It is not dating service or escort service.
People who have profiles on the site, pay a yearly fee to be on the site. But, they can earn it back and more if they are active.
I would have never thought a site like this existed, if I hadn't come across a video on YouTube about it.
I also would never use a site like that. The person you got to together with could be crazy or a mugger etc. Would you use a site like this?
Rent a friend to go to an event or party with you, teach you a new skill or hobby, help you meet new people, show you around town, or just someone for companionship.

Definitely sounds like an escort site.. lol. I would never "rent a friend". Stupid idea / site.

I still wouldn't trust a site like this and besides I would rather find a real friend rather than a rented one.

I have heard about it before. I would never use it but i can see how it would wotk for some people especially if they are visitng a new place and don't know anybody.
