Quiet afternoon relaxing at home

Went to the service this morning. The venue was filled to capacity. It was the nice service and a nice tribute to our veterans and all those who served and are serving. After we left there I dropped my grand daughter off at her other nanny's place for a sleepover there tonight.
Stopped into a store along the way to see what they had. Thought i might be able to find a few Christmas gifts but didn't find anything. My grand daughter picked up a few things for herself.
Now I am sitting back, relaxing and enjoying my Saturday. What are you all up to?

I have been so busy today!
I ran around this morning running errands and shopping.
I was lucky to make it home in time to stop and take a minute of silence.
I turned the tv on and watched part of a ceremony that was televised.
Then I got busy again.
I looked for a Christmas gift this morning also, but struck out as they didn't have what I wanted.

Sounds like a lovely service. I went to the Mercantile to browse for things I don't need and then the grocery. On the way home I went a different direction to enjoy the scenery. I'm relaxing reading here before watching the baby while my daughter and son-in-law goes on a date night.

We didn't do much yesterday and have no plans for today. I do need to get out and get the Christmas shopping done however. UGH
