I have a dilemma I have a friend that I still believe is part of my family even though a said family has a problem with that friend, it caused me great pain to have a friend and a family member hate each other. I consider the fact that we have an age difference but its fine we are just friends that understand each other, have the similar taste in music and hobbies also both of us have a very similar taste in vehicles, I am younger and the said friend is older, we understand each other and have many similar issues. I really consider that friend and their family my family I wish there was a way for my family to accept my friend as my friend and not an enemy, that said friend helped me with many issues and I can say i tried to help with her issues I listened and she listened to me. I hope she understands that I do not hate her and I hope she is doing well I forgive that is what the bible says forgive the ones that wronged you, I hope she can do the same. I hope everything is going well for her too, and that her family is doing well.

One step at a time. Just enjoy your good relationship with them and avoid mentioning any disagreement s you might have with either to any of them no matter how small it may be. Also mention how dear they are to your heart once in a while to affirm that the other person is not as bad a single what the other may think.

We are imperfect humans, we can't possible like everyone who crosses our path. That being said I think you can have friends that your family members don't like. There is nothing wrong with that. Just don't bring them together and all will be well.

Is it surprising some people quarrel among themselves living together?
