Do you have strong feelings about your Christmas tree? I used to use a live tree when my son was young..but have had artificial for the last several years. I have plenty of evergreen type trees around the property..but as I mentioned in a previous post..I am not thrilled with the idea of killing a tree..I wish I could figure out how to keep it alive, but I had a living tree in the past and it died. I was talking to someone about it..and they said..they always die!! Real or artificial..what does it for you?

Vince likes a real one but often we're either not around to enjoy it or not around to get one. I have one I made and I'm pretty happy with that. I made it when Vince was away. I'll add a photo of it before it gets decorated. I completely cover it with tinsel. The holes make it easy to attach any ornaments I might want to add.

I love living trees best..I have not had one at all ever.
The only living trees in my life were when I was a child in my childhood home.
Here in this dang apartment, I have a funny artificial tree. I say funny becoz it seems to be off kilter, but hey it works.

My grandfather often had a Charlie Brown tree. My mother and I would tease him about it.

I have had artificial for the last 45 years. A few years of real was quite enough for me.

@snowy22315 The last one we cut ourselves and when we brought it home and put it in the holder, it went sideways lol worst experience of my life not to mention the needles.

Yes, when you have a real tree it seems you are finding pine needles for six months.

We can only have fake where we live, so that's all we've ever had. But my boyfriend had a real tree the first few years we were together and i hated smwlling it all the time and the pines falling off onto the floor

That's the problem, if you put it up too early, it will dry out and lose needles.

I love having a real tree but we use an artificial one every year. Something is going on with the tree farms here in NC. I just missed it on the news the other night. Somehow or another we are low on real trees. Real trees cause our allergies to get in a twist so we keep things simple with a fake one!

Is it true that having a real Christmas tree inside your house or apartment can be a fire hazard?

I've always gone with artificial Christmas trees.
The last few years I've put together the tree outside on my back deck. It looks so cool when snow covers it.
