My cup of coffee

When I have a cup of coffee, it is usually in an average size cup. I drink it black, no sweetener, no creamer.
I was on a website this morning that had descriptions of commercial coffee drinks.
Somehow it just turns my stomach to think of fudge sauce and caramel in a twenty ounce or larger cup.
Sweetened coffee is not on my "must have"list. I have had iced coffees with real whipped cream on top. The cream was so thick and rich it was more like butter.
Just call me boring as I sit here with my standard mug of homemade black coffee. I know it did not cost me three to five dollars, either.
I will drink brewed coffee with vanilla or hazelnut flavor, etc. But it had best not be sweet.

I have family that will stir vanilla ice cream into hot coffee. I just do not care for it.

Well Miss Boring just kidding.. I LOVE my coffee sweet and sugary. Those caramel frappes at McDonalds with whipped cream on top and caramel drizzled over are so amazing. My son must have my tastes as he told me about an hour ago that for his next birthday he wants me to make him one so he can have one without leaving the house

@GardenGerty I don’t like it black I have to load it up with milk, sugar and flavored creamer. Someone said to me once that I don’t actually like coffee if I have to add so much. They have a point.

@GardenGerty Aw, thank you! It's the only thing I drink that's sweet.

Touch of real cream might be okay, or even real milk, but I do not like these "non dairy" things too much.

I am not a big fan of coffee. I have drunk it black and in other ways but I am a real tea drinker.

Tea is very good in its own way. I like Constant Comment by Bigelow. It is a black tea with orange and spices in it.

Are you a diabetic? My mom drinks black coffee too, no sugar, no creamer

I am now diabetic, but I quit the sugar and cream about thirty years ago, long before I was diabetic.

I gave up coffee when I was 15... now I can always tell if the tea I'm served elsewhere has come in contact with it, such as in a carafe that once held coffee. Can't stand it.

I dislike "cross contaminated" carafes and cups and jars. Yuk

I go through stages. Sometimes I like the flavored coffee that has the flavor in the grounds/beans and other times I use a creamer. If I use creamer, I will not use sugar with it. I got over buying those expensive coffee house places years ago when I was in my 20's.

I like tea as well. I often have some of each during the day.

. I am black with a little splenda. All that sweet makes it dessert.

Hey, Im with you on that!...I tried a spice latte cappuccino this past month and TOO SWEET!
I love my coffee Black and simple . My one indulgence is that I Have a Tassimo I use when the pods are on sale and I get a great cup off coffee instantly for about .56 cents - beats Starbucks ! - Other times, it's my plain old drip Dark Roast!

I have not tried Tassimo. I did product demos of Keurig and of Nespresso. I liked that Keurig was really hot.

I like mine a bit sweet. I also prefer the classic one better, not into flavored coffee that much.

My hubby grew up in Rhode Island, where they made "coffee milk" with a syrup that is like the chocolate syrup. It has caffeine and everything.

If I am going to have "a little" I want a lot, so I do not do any.
