I had a wonderful Thanksgiving today. One of the better holidays with my family. No drama, and that's rare, might even be a first.
I was able to pass up all those yummy looking sugar filled dishes on the table. It wasn't even hard to do so. At one point my sister asked me if I was going to eat anything. I told her yes. She asked if I was dieting, again, I told her yes.
Nobody noticed any kind of change though. So I went ahead and posted the diet and photos showing the change in the last few months on FB. We'll see if it gets noticed.
Picture is one of many I took at my sister's. Happy Thanksgiving to all those in the US. I hope your day was good and thankful.
Thanks for reading.

I'm so glad that you will power kicked in and you were able to stick to your diet. I'm so sorry that nobody noticed your weight loss, but again they don't see you all the time. We sure see the difference here when you post your photos for us to see.

I will say I was disappointed nobody noticed. Oh well. I did post those pics on FB, so I'll see what anyone says about it, from my family. I did get some comments from friends last night.
Thank you. I appreciate that you can see it. I think I would quit the diet if it didn't make any difference, but this one is in many ways.

@just4him My parents are the same way, very critical and my father has a problem being grateful.

@LovingMyBabies It's sad when parents are that way.

Mine was good. I went to two dinners, one at noon and the other at 5 PM. I was too stuffed to jump by the time I got home. @FourWalls will probably notice I'm borrowing an album title in the previous sentence.

I am glad you had a no drama Thanksgiving. You were better than me with the pictures, I didn't even take one of the get-together, never thought of it.

Lovely get together! Glad you had a great time. It would be hard for me to ignore yummy desserts on the table, though.

I was better than usual with the sweets, but I could have left a few off. I am glad you could stick to your plans. Happy Thanksgiving.
