Should we eat a big breakfast?

Well, having breakfast in the morning is really important as it is said to provide energy for us to start our activities. I agree on that. But then, some friends of mine told me that the breakfast should be enermous. Means that we should have a big breakfast everyday? Well, is it true? I think I can't do that. For me, a toast or a slice of bread will be enough. What do you say? Image is taken from pixabay

I agree with that. They say that eating breakfast will help you maintain good body weight (since you won't be overeating for the entire day because you had your first meal of the day). People also say that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. It will give you more energy. Some bread and a drink would be nice for me. Though, I don't always get to eat breakfast because of my routunes.

@milkdtea I see. When I was still in college I also faced the same situation like that. Just never forget your breakfast eventhough it will be late.

Yes, I also agree on that. Why don't you always have your breakfast everyday?

@A_loves_B Well I'm in college and most of my classes start at 7AM in the morning. So the lazy me wakes up at 6/6:30, takes a shower then goes to campus. I have no time for breakfast anymore :)

Breakfast is the biggest meal of the day for me because my last meal the day before is usually at 5 p.m. - and it is very light - so I am pretty hungry in the morning. However, I never overeat so I would have what I consider a normal breakfast.

More than quantity, you should have healthy breakfast because there remains a gap of many hours between dinner and morning breakfast.

We should eat a healthy breakfast, but not full of fat and junk.

I agree with you. I think having a slice of bread and a glass of milk is healthy enough for me. What's your breakfast?

Our Filipino breakfast usually includes rice which makes it a heavy meal. Occasionally I will take a lighter meal like coffee and some toast bread.

Here in my place, some people have fried rice, or rice with sunny side up egg. But I prefer some bread for my breakfast

Breakfast is the very first meal of the day. We should always have a healthy breakfast. You can have fruits, muesli, cornflakes, oats, boiled eggs. If you like bread, you can go for wholemeal or brown bread. It has got fiber. You should have a heavy breakfast. It does not matter if you have less food for lunch and dinner.
