Good afternoon. Not an interesting post to talk about but! I am an elderly man of 87.This generation is slowly fading away. Every time or what I hear people are dying in the late eighties. So I am saying to my self.Is time near. Spooky when I read the obituary. Many men dying off in the late eighties. The latest casualty is Jim Nabors. Will I be next?how long do I have.I know this sounds aerie But left face it.My generation is leaving us. photo online

Live your life and enjoy every moment. None if us regardless of our age are guaranteed tomorrow. We just got to make the most of our lives while we can.

Actually, we are all going to face this frightening experience. Many are small kids, others are teenagers and young adults. So, age isn't really the deciding factor, instead we need to enjoy each day, as a gift from God:)

You are doing well, so many well-known people haven't made it past 70. None of us can ever know how much time we have left

I am about ten years behind you and have already outlived my best friends from high school. I am always surprised at how many people very young show up in the obits.

I keep hearing of different ones dying and thinking 'heck, they were younger than me' and I'm only 71. At least we're too old to die young Alfredo!

I think I understand how you feel. I am only 72, but have had some health problems that make me wonder just how much longer I have. It's unsettling personally, even though I am not afraid and I know where I am going. To see the older generation passing away is sad because there is so much knowledge and experience that's sorely needed at times that will be lost.

I hear you. Jim Nabors was such a good guy. Then there is my Mom who is 96 but living with dementia. Not sure about her quality of life at this point.

I think we all fear this ending, no matter what our age is. Your alive this moment, and that's all that matters.

Many hundreds of generations have been wiped out by Time, and many more hundreds will follow them. Time doesn't care, he just keeps plodding on, the cheeky devil.
