Can't find the Christmas Tree!

My fiancé has some time so we went to go get our Christmas Tree out of the shed in the backyard and it's not there.
*Silence* Well where's the tree?
He recalls that we may have brought it to my parents' house, but I don't think so neither does my mom.
I think when his parents' were in town, they may have donated it with their other stuff when they were cleaning the shed. We called them and they told us, they don't remember and we could buy a small tree instead..
The tree was practically brand new, only been used once! I have all these new ornaments that I bought last year, too. I'm overly annoyed right now.
Have you put up your Christmas tree yet?

Oh no! That's the kind of thing that happened to my husband's stuff when he left it in his parent's garage . . . things would just disappear . Well, I guess now you get to have fun picking out another tree and more ornaments! Our artificial tree is in the garage . . . with all the holiday stuff and I know I saw the box when taking out the autumn stuff - but it probably won't go up for another week or so.

@infatuatedbby Hopefully a good sale will come by . . . I can't believe how many 50% off Christmas stuff there is already! Yah, Christmas trees can be an investment .

@much2say I think I got my Christmas tree last time at 75%? It was something cheap! But right now, eh... Michaels has a tree for $500 originally $999. No thank you! Haha

But I don't want to spend the money on a new tree, lol. Not yet, the prices are still steep lol. :) I put up my mini Christmas tree today though, that'll do for now.
We told his parents' to check before donating but argh!

I thought you were going to tell us that somebody broke into the shed and stole your Christmas tree. That would have been a low blow. I can understand your frustration of only using that tree one time and then getting rid of it. When you get your next one, you better keep a close eye on it throughout the year!
I wil be getting my Christmas tree tomorrow (Saturday). We will be buying a real tree.

I put up my mini Christmas tree. I don't understand why they'd toss out a brand new tree literally without consulting. They have junk in there they didn't toss out. So annoying! And I found out I have more Christmas skirts and ornaments I haven't used.
I don't know if I'm going to get a tree now....... or wait until after Christmas lol!! Yay, have a fun time picking out your tree!

@infatuatedbby Well, at least you have your mini tree up. That's better than nothing. And if you want to wait to get a great deal on a tree, then yes, wait until after Christmas!

No, no one would have stolen the tree. They were cleaning it last time they visited and must have either donated or tossed it. I called his parents' and she said she doesn't remember but you could buy a small one instead. A big one would be a hassle to put up, so according to those words must have tossed it but saying it nicely?

@infatuatedbby What a rude thing to do. The tree was your tree and they had not to toss it without asking. Buy a new BIG tree.

Sorry to hear your tree has gone missing! I would be upset over that too. Especially if you just bought it last year!
I just put a small tabletop tree up this year. It's a fiber optic tree and I haven't hung any ornaments on it yet. Debating if I will or not.

@Srbageldog Yep its gone. We called his mom asking if they tossed it or donated, they said they don't remember but we don't need a big tree anyway just get a small one. So I am guessing that means, it's tossed.

I just put up the small Christmas tree and probably buy one next time after Christmas. I am pretty upset though because we only used that tree once. :(

I still have a mini tree. Not sure if we'll get a new one or just use the small Christmas tree and wait until after Christmas to buy a big one at a cheaper price.

Wow that is awesome you cut your trees yourselves. Is it from a tree farm, or your own backyard? :) Happy Holidays.

@paigea That is very interesting. Did you just cut down one, or you're able to cut up to 3? :)
I hear it is sparse here too but I don't have a real tree. My sister did buy one at Home Depot, it cost her like $50 or $60.

@infatuatedbby we can buy a permit ($5.00) and cut down 3 trees on Crown land. ( government land) Only in certain areas.
So we do that. But it can be hard to find a perfect one and this year's is pretty sparse.

I asked my dad to check his house and he said nope, no tree.
I don't know why in the world they'd toss a perfectly brand new tree away! It was in the Christmas tree box too, argh!

It was easy to find our Xmas tree but the decorations wow I almost lost it. Never let anyone borrow your tree specially if it's new. We had our tree for decades now and it's not been borrowed.

We didn't let anyone borrow our tree. It was in the shed in the backyard, they were cleaning it and must have tossed it or donated. We have decorations just not the tree (opposite of you)

It's their shed. They previously lived here and they have a lot of stuff. He asked them to clean out items that is theirs and toss it out because majority of the house he's having to pay rent for is literally storing his parents things.
