@LadyDuck I stock things like pastas, rice, chocolate, a lot of dehydrated vegetables and fruits, etc. When I had my stroke I emptied the stock. Difficult to tell how it would have lasted if I had had to rely only on it, as I had friends doing some shopping for me for things like fresh fruits, meat and cheese, but I think quite a month. My cupboards are again quite full

When I informed my husband that it was snowing, he only asked if I had food enough to skip grocery shopping. No problem, I have food for at least a full week, included a lot of chocolate.

@topffer I also stock dry food and I have meat, chicken and some vegetable in the freezer. I always buy more than I need and I freezer, just in case we cannot go out.

@JudyEv She was moved from the hospital to a hospice to have physical therapy. They try to see if she can eat and drink again, at least liquid food. She was moved yesterday morning, I go to see her tomorrow. Thanks for asking Judy.

My Mom's birthday is the 13th, then there is Christmas and the 27th is our wedding anniversary. Nothing else that I can think right now.

Yesterday it was windy, but sunny. This morning it snowed, right now nothing is coming down from the sky and Willy the cat is inside on my feet. We have floor heating, he loves to come inside and rest on my feet.

I am going to a couple of parties this weekend, but December has 2 holidays. On December 8th we have the feast of the Immaculate Conception of Mary. And then on December 25 we celebrate Christmas. In fact, we start celebrating Christmas on Christmas eve.

I hope December will be a much better month for you. We have lots going on this month. We leave for Florida on the 4th, our older son's birthday is the 6th, my hubby's birthday is the 18th, my brother will be in Florida for a week, dinner with friends in Florida has been set up for the month, and we host cocktails and dessert on New Year's Eve in Florida.

What a shame to have the birthday the same day of Christmas, you surely miss a cake and a gift.

We have our wedding anniversary on the 27th, it makes a longer celebration, as the 26th is a holiday in most European countries.

What a beautiful photo, you took it right? I didn't know a lot of those events except of course Christmas. One natural event on the 21st is the winter solstice which means the next day will begin the longer days. I look forward to that, these short days are no fun.
