Is it so easy to forget about past

Hello friends.. Saturday done with house cleaning and laundry as usual. We hear "forget about the past" live in the present and so on. Is it that easy to move on and forget the past . When ever we remember the painful past it is hurting no matter how many years passed. What do you think friends ?

It varies from human to human. Someone with a Strong will can move on easily but people soft hearts find it super hard to forget.
