I was reading about school, I found this word: SAT. What does it mean exactly?

SAT stands for Scholastic Aptitude Test. Basically, it is a test that most college-cound students have to take. It is a standardized test. It consists of math, reading, and writing. Most students take the SAT in the junior year of high school.
