I am a believer and when I think of evolution which proves us with scientific facts the origin of species and on the other hand about different religions which provides diversified statements about the origin of life,I'm a little confused but, ones birth and death in this world is always a mystery.I wouldn't say existence of God is a false belief or a delusion, though there is evolution to prove us with scientific reasons about the origin of species, there are also so many other testimonies we hear from people about witnessing God in their lives. Also, many of us would have witnessed God in our lives. There are 2 sides.
According to you is religion a delusion or not?

@rey123 bite me! - really just joking.
But seriously actually I disagree with you here. And I can prove it. If you want to discuss this I'm good with it if not that is okay too. But here the thing on your comment to consider.
In you are understanding this your way then yes that might be true for you. But it is not true for me and many others.
Starting with science I can agree with evolution for example but not that part on evolving from chimpanzees. Scientifically not exactly true.

You come to say you believe in both evolution and religious aspect of origin of life as well?.According to the bible God created the world in 7 days.Animals and humans were created in the 6th day.According to evolution man evolved from chimpanzees. It's either you believe in evolution or you believe in God.Because both are different.

@rey123 if you edit this post and add all that to your discussion up there, maybe more people would answer because they will have an idea where you're coming from with this topic. it's just a suggestion, of course.

Many things show that there is a very wise Creator, who constructed everyhing.. If we think of the DNA, our brain, how we were created, with the abilty to reason logically and everything else we see around us, how could we have evolved from nothing??

@rey123 Many believe that we are still living in the seventh say of the creation week. If we think of God’s plan to restore the paradise during about a thousand years, that would make the 7’th day 7000 years long.. In that case the creation week would be 7x7000 years long..or even longer.. the way God couts the time may be far beyond out understanding..
The time for God is very different from our time, so our days of 24 hours are just for us humans..

There is pseudo science and pseudo religion which are both delusions. Then, there is truth which in unpopular but those who love it, embrace it.
By the way, the evolution theory is not science. It is the misconstruction of a few facts to give erroneous results.

@rey123 At this time they are just theories and there is no proof at all but the problem is that they promote it as a scientific proven fact when it is not. One day soon, they will all see that it was a deception.

@1hopefulman But there are fossils and genetic study and a lot more which tells us about the DNA similarities man and chimpanzees share. Also, archaeology reveals a lot of details about human activity. What's your say in this?
