What "desktop image" do you use?

I know it's kind of a personal question, but I'm curious about what others use as their desktop image. Is it the default that came with the computer? A favorite person? Something motivating? Something soothing? For years, I didn't care, and just used whatever image was the default on that computer. But I finally decided I wanted a soothing image, and one that as familiar to me, not some random place I'd never been to. So I chose my own photo of the Michaelsons' field, near our family cabin in Montana. My icons took a long time to load this morning, and as I looked at the field, I realized that just looking at it really is soothing to me. It also made me wonder what others stare at while waiting for their icons to load.

My Christmas desktop
I have several desktop wallpapers that I tend to cycle in rotation, mostly personal holiday photographs. However, I do try to personalise the computer for special occasions such as Christmas, which is why I am currently using this one.

@TheHorse It's a relaxing image, I keep my desktop dark, it's more gentle for my eyes.

@TheHorse they are daisies. They were in my flowerbed just outside my living room. I took the photo about four years ago.

That is a nice view. I have my own photo of a sunflower I grew here in a flower pot on the front deck back in 2010.

We have a random place, a tranquil stream of water and hilly terrain.I have no idea where it was taken. It's so old, I seldom even look at it, for even a minute. Your desktop image is beautiful, quite relaxing to look at!

When we had a desktop, about 15 years ago, we always had a default of lanscape of animals. But once I had my daughter 9.5 years ago, we switched it to pictures of my daughter. Then we got rid of the desktop about 8years ago, and when I finally got my first laptop about 5-6 years ago I out my daughter again, and same with my new laptop i got this year. As nothing else seems like a good fit for it.

@Courtlynn My failure turned to joy. I was trying to make "bubble stuff" in the sensory table. Instead, I made mountains of bubbles that became beards, mustaches, and beehive hairdos.

Usually I have a pretty beach scene on my screen because the beach is my favorite place. Now that the holidays are approaching I have a yule log burning which makes it feel more like Christmas since I don't have a fireplace. Your field in Montana certainly is soothing and I can see why you picked it.
