Do You Believe in TRUE LOVE?

I am a sucker for happy ending, that "and they lived happily ever after". But does it truly exist or is it just an illusion, a pigment of one talented writer's imagination? I have seen so many families broken because of lack of love for each other especially the parents. For some men saying "I love you" is as easy as ABC and being used to take advantage of one's vulnerability. There are some lucky people who found it but they are so few....
How about you? Have you found it or still keeping the faith of finding it?

I do believe that true love exists. However, it cannot stay equally leveled with scenes that are depicted from movies that we all know. It is by means of loving unconditionally, prioritizing their interests above yours, and not giving up after a long fight.

Yes. That’s true. Let them no longer held accountable for their wrong doings but rather give them the chance to change. Love is trusting with your eyes closed.

True love is found in fiction only. The real life is very different from fiction.

Deepak, is this you, my dear? :-) I believe it is you! :-)
You know what? Eventhough I have been through a lot of hell just to prove that true love exist (of which I have not succeeded yet) I believe in true love. The kind that thinks of me and my happiness before his. The love that will hold my hand when I am scared and will remain even if I am at my worst... I know that one day, I will find it. :-)

@iamfemme Yes, it is me. You got it right.
There is no harm in your belief that true love exists and you are hopeful that one day you will be able to find true love. Our best wishes are with you.

@dpk262006 I do not lose hope, my dear. I have proof that true love exist (my parents') so I will just keep holding on. Though I also know people`who gave love a bad name and reputation. Sigh... There's always pros and cons, right? To maintain balance in everything, even in love. :-)

I had just about given up on that concept until Anne and I met online nine years ago. It seems to be working well so far.

I trust true love, but true love won't happen on me.

True love exists is my opinion.love is growing old together.we can surely observe that love in many old couples .how far they sacrifice their likes and should be understanding between both and respect should also be there.how many misunderstanding takes place they will be together

Mahmood, thank you. ;-) Some are blessed to ave found true love , some are just not lucky enough. Women in my family are one of the few ones who were blessed with the true loved one of their life. One of them told me that love ,she said, is a decision. A decision to wake up every day loving that person regardless of his imperfections and shortcomings.:-) And also, includes a lot of prayers and let God be the center of that relationship. :-)
