Good afternoon.cold and blustery. But full sun do give me some warmth.
Our guest last night our vegan friends.
Mike and I go all out to keep them happy and no cheating.
They appreciated this.
Here's first not sure why they call themselves vegan.
they cheated. We bought some of the things for them to help them along.
cheese,cool whip non diary etc.
they cheated.they had our grated parmesan cheese, regular butter,
etc.But that is fine no biggie. But why call themselves vegan.
Oh!well maybe they got bored who know.Yes plenty of chocolate.LOL
But we loved them.
This morning at the show in Milford the lobby had this wonderful gingerbread house. The photo there.isn't that great.
Have a great afternoon.

I called myself vegetarian all those years because of cheese, I ate no meat whatsoever but loved my cheese. I am headed back to a veg head, I had travels so much I started eating chicken again, and sometimes a burger.
Now that I feel I am staying put I can make my meals and make sure they are animal free.

I have a friend who is completely vegan now. She used to be a vegetarian - but her nemesis was chocolate and cheese . . . not sure how she is dealing with it now. Well it's nice you went all out to treat your vegan friends - maybe they are ok with "once and a while".

Great gingerbread house there.
That would be frustrating if you prepared a special menu with items for a highly restricted diet, and then they broke their own diet ... maybe they are not truly Vegan, but yeah, why say you are and you aren't ?

Maybe they didn’t want to be rude and not eat what you made so they ate food they normally wouldn’t.

What a lovely photo, it reminds me of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs! Some people call themselves vegans, because they don't consume meats. I have to have meat in my diet, or I'd pass out from low blood sugar! Diabetics can't go vegan very easily but, I'm sure there are some that succeed at it.

@amadeo Cheese is a wonderful substitute for meat, or even other dairy products.

I couldn't be a vegetarian, let alone a vegan. I like meat too much.

I love your gingerbread house. How many hours did it take to bake/build one?
