Heartbroken and Frustrated

My dad has been in and out of the hospital numerous times in the past two months. It seems like a vicious cycle. Finally, his doctors, this past weekend, transferred him to a better hospital with more reputable specialist in Birmingham, AL. He is not doing well. He has non-alcoholic liver cirrhosis and his diabetes is a roller coaster of numbers. It looks like he won't be home for Christmas. I will miss him, but if they can find a way to actually help him, it will be worth it. It is not looking good. My heart hurts. He is such godly man - a man who has lived for his Lord and loved his family immensely. I will be going to the hospital to spend the day with him tomorrow and I am praying for a miracle.

I'm so sorry he won't be home for Christmas but maybe they will be able to fix him up better, and that's a great Christmas present.
