Looks like the perfect meal to christen your new stove. It must be nice having it installed and ready to go

Lasagna is something I still need to make one day. My mom never made it and I never thought about it until recently. If make it, though, I think I'd like to try to make vegetable lasagna. We seem to enjoy that more even though were not vegetarians.
We got a new stove two years ago, but it doesn't look very new anymore. My husband tends to cook on high heat. I thought the newer gas burners on stoves would be easier to clean, but I've found that's not necessarily so. Although, I've not used sos pads for a long time, a friend came to help me clean recently and I discovered that the pads don't scratch the surface of the stove like I thought it would, so I'll have to give that another try with the SOS pads.

@amadeo do you mean a spray or the stuff that usually gets diluted? I've tried lots of things. We should have bought a flat surface electric rather than another gas range.

Lasagna is one of my favorite foods. It's one of our ordered foods last Christmas and we ordered 3 big trays of it. In fact, I packed some for my snack at 3:00 this afternoon. I always pair it with a sweet bread.
I think it would be nice to pair it with the cranberry nut bread.
