What were you doing at midnight last night?

I was watching Grey's Anatomy on Netflix. My daughter got me into it and I finished up season 3 last night.
Hubby was at work. He texted me at midnight, but I didn't get to see him all night. He got home at probably about 4 in the morning and crashed on the sofa.
I didn't even know midnight had passed until he texted me, and then I went to bed shortly there after.
I didn't watch the ball drop or have a drink, nothing. I used to like to make a big deal out of New Year's Eve.. but not so much anymore. At least it's a paid holiday so I get today off while getting paid for it. That's a good thing!

Nice you got that pay 
! We had a nice meal at home and was planning to sleep through like we have done in the past few years . . . but this year the kids got into the whole Ryan Seacrest thing on TV . . . so they made us stay up until midnight

I couldn't watch the ball drop if I wanted to.. can't get a signal on the TV because we don't have cable.

@much2say So how was it? I don't really like her much anymore. She's always been a diva, but sometimes it goes too far, ya know. She's trying too hard. I agree she is not relevant anymore, but she won't accept that.

Actually we were more interested in Mariah Carey's performance . . . they were making such a big deal out her (is she really that relevant anymore??). Last year it was a fail for her - so I think she/they were trying to make up for last year. We had to check it out this year for ourselves .

We spent the evening at home, watching movies, eating snacky foods and having a few drinks. It was a fun evening. We were up to welcome the new year here and then we stayed up to welcome the new year again watching the ball drop.
