There are people who love working from home but sometimes it could get boring too and they would miss the outside world. It's fun when you're surrounded by real people.

@toniganzon Old would mean above 60 I think. In our country retirement age is 60 so after that people do not have any options of job an have to make do with whatever opportunities they get from home.

@mayka123 I'm 40. I'm not sure that falls the category of being old. When I think of old, I think of a retiring age and there'd be no work anymore.

I don't like to follow others. So yeah, I prefer working alone. But what type of jobs are there that can give me decent earnings?

I have not yet got any opportunity to work from home. I need to go to my workplace to perform my duties.

Either full time job away from home or a home-based job is fine with me. I think what matter is that we are enjoying what we do and I feel grateful that I have work anyway. There are many people struggling to have a work that will give them money monthly. At present, I am working offline. I have my blog and I am working on it too, hoping that time come I will also receive earnings from it.

@annierose I think that depends on the country you live in. Good income from home is not possible in all countries.

@mayka123 It is possible. I have seen some people having a good stable income even they are just at home. Good luck on all your endeavors!

I like to work at home as I do not have to buy expensive office clothes (can work in my jammies), no bumper-to-bumper traffic, no expensive gasoline, I can make my own hours, etc.

@Spontaneo I feel comfortable in my bed. May be because I get a chance just once a week to work from my bed.

@mayka123 I always see job postings were people are working on their laptops by the beach or on their beds... I wish I could!

@mayka123 I usually sit at my desk, although working from home. Bed just does not feel comfortable.

@taciaelisepeace I spend most of my time on Spare5 and Humanatic. I sometimes work on CrowdFlower Elite if I still have an extra time.

I have done both and both have their pros and cons. Right now, I prefer working from home. Later I might want to go out to work. Depends on my mood and what point of life I am at.

@Daljinder It takes time to get established and it doesn't happen overnight.

@mayka123 True! Online work is not sufficient unless one is well established.

I have health problems so have no choice but work from home. It can be interesting. Set a goal though this yr to work on getting my garage set up so i can run my offline business more smoothly from home.

It's true though that most work from home jobs can earn you lesser than what you can earn on a corporatw job for instance but I think I'd prefer working from home so I won't have to endure the daily traffic just to get to work. I want to work from home full time but I'm not sure yet how where and when to start

I've been dreaming to have my own business someday. I don't like seating in the office the whole day.

@rheicel Agree its never too late. But I have taken some loans for buying a house so have to ensure that I can pay the loan instalments every month. My salary at present enables me make the payments. Starting a business at this stage would be risky.
