About January 31st......................

That's a shot I took of Ally in 2012, Mykey eventually tore up that toy rope I'd bought her.

Looks like the eve on January 31st will be a one time thing in our lifetimes, I sure hope I do not forget to be outside when it happens:
A total eclipse of a "blue moon" will occur on Jan. 31 — the first time this has happened since 1866.

I am in far west Texas but you may be right, many times those special kinds of events are just not visible this far south.

I wonder the same thing, sometimes these events are only visible in areas I cannot travel to.

I know @Hannihar but I suppose a lot of pro photographers flew to areas where they could get those shots, they are so competitive

Well yeah @shaggin we'll get to see what others saw but like with the planet lineup that happened in the 1980s, which I missed, I'd rather see it for myself.

I probably won't be able to see it even if it's not cold, so far this region never has the right view of any of these events ..... maybe in 150 years though, unless I'm napping
