Family Time

Hey everyone I hope you are doing well. =) Things have been so busy here with my sister and her family being here! God has blessed us with a great few days! We have enjoyed meals together, we went to a science and history museum yesterday with them-which was a great time, we played a couple card games and enjoyed their company. Today is going to be a sad day though. They are leaving and we will not see them for 4 years. The kids are going to be a hot mess of emotions today. =( They have been like siblings most of their lives until we moved to Florida. Visiting for either family would be crazy expensive and none can afford that kind of trip. California is an expensive place to live so they won't have the extra money and we never have extra money... Anyway, after they leave today I will be able to spend my normal amount of time here again. =) Don't forget God loves you and He wants to take your burdens away. The picture is of my youngest daughter, my nephew, my little niece and Julian.

How lovely to be able to spend some time with your sister. Are you able to facetime or whatsapp her. It is quite a distance for you but there are other ways and means of keeping in touch today how lucky we are!

@garymarsh6 Yes we had a good time. You're right, we can always use skype and those kinds of things to keep in touch. We are lucky for that!

At least you all can stay in touch with modern technology as opposed to the old days where all you had was snail mail and expensive long distance calls.

Wow how sad it will be so long until you will see them again. If you do Facebook that's a nice way to watch them all grow even though you don't get to see them in person.

@LovingMyBabies yes and the military sends you so far away. At least your sister is still in the United States. My late husbands cousin was sent to Germany for years. Imagine his wife and child who didn't speak German and living in a new place like that They bought a new oven and the directions were all in German.

@shaggin That's why I did not choose the military life. My sister married an air force guy and she will have to live where ever they tell her, not my kind of life for sure. When you marry into military you do know what you're signing up for. I like only God owning me-not people.

@shaggin I know. =( We are going to Skype so we can see them on video. I feel bad for the kids though, they all love each other so much. When the military says go you have no option though.

Enjoy your day with them. I seen a word you used that you should not " Never" I do think one day you will also have riches of money to go along with riches of having all those awesome children.

@andriaperry Thank you, we had a good day. You know, I really don't need to be rich here on Earth. I know our riches are in Heaven.

@LovingMyBabies Yes I know but God wants the best for you and you do have to have money for that. I would never say never I did not think I would be where I am now 10 years ago.

The smiles on the kids in the picture show how much fun they are all having together. I'm sorry that you won't see them for so long, but hopefully the memories from this visit will sustain you all.

@Juliaacv They had a great time! They were a little nervous to take a picture with the astronaut. Lol. I mostly feel bad for our children, all who love each other very much.

They look like they are having a great time. It's too bad you will all be so far apart. They will be able to keep up with each other on Skype. It won't be the same but they will be able to talk.
