TEA AND COOKIES.

When it is time for a coffee or tea break, do you have just the beverage, or something along with it like cookies or a sandwich? They say drinking and eating together is not good for one's health but the only liquid I drink without an accompanying food item would be water.
Even soup - I would have with rolls or crackers. Right now it is raining heavily and I am about to take a tea break , this time it will be tea and cookies. Sometimes I have crackers and cheese, a peanut butter sandwich, or pastry. What do you have with yours? Or is it usually just the tea or coffee?

@Kandae11 I just snack throughout - I don't take any official breaks (but I'm a stay at home mom - the kitchen is just right there ). I do have my green tea in the mornings during the weekdays - and then some raw dandelion greens . . . not sure if that's really breakfast of a sort of snack before I find the next thing .

I like hot tea or coffee with something sweet like a cookie or a piece of chocolate.

I drink neither. I only drink water and I wait 30 min before I eat anything.

@db20747 It is not a regular thing. I don't need coffee to get me through the day and it bothers my stomach. I might drink a herbal tea but again I don't need it. Water does the trick for me. I drink distilled water.
How do you feel about coffee and tea?

@1hopefulman I like tea better. Caffeine in coffee keeps me coming back for more coffee. It wakes me up but then I get a crash and must have more coffee although I love coffee creamers with different flavors. Tea's a good drink to unwind.

I think I’m too young to remember the concept of a “coffee break” at work. I’ve always worked in offices where we could have beverages at our desks, so it was (and still is) tea, tea, tea, from the time I arrive until the time I leave. When it’s cold I drink herbal/decaffeinated tea after dinner. I don’t drink hot tea with a meal, though.
And I never drink coffee. There’s only so much in the world, and I have to make sure JJ has enough.

I like cookies with my tea or coffee also. I eat breakfast when drinking my coffee, I can't drink it without any food.

@Kandae11 I don't drink tea, and rarely coffee, though I love Frappuccinos.

@Kandae11 I never heard of milo, but if it has chocolate, it must be good.
