Children's Laughter ( A Poem)

Sitting here comfortably by the window
Having a coffee break as I bow my head down low
Hearing the children’s laughter on the streets outside
Makes me laugh my heart out loud
Childhood memories come rushing in randomly
Down memory lane happy thoughts come by rapidly
I was once a child full of joy and innocence
Not knowing life’s absurdities that lie in my existence
Care free, free of worries only wanted to play all day
Though my Mom kept on calling my name and say:
“Go home, child and take your nap
Tomorrow is another day, stop all those craps!”
Pretending not to hear all those calls and shouts
Kept on dancing and playing and round about
A child’s world is full of happiness
Sometimes I feel the envy and wanting to go back
To the days of laughter that I did once have
Dancing and singing my heart with all the songs of cheers
My heart was full of gladness and joy was all for real
(just a random poem I did while spending my time alone at home)

Beautiful poem and was reminded my childhood life were shouting, singing and dancing was all we were doing.
