Why I Hate PayPal

India
January 9, 2018 8:15am CST
Actually i like PayPal but after we read the history about PayPal in India then it felt so bad. Earlier on Indian government didn't allowed PayPal to work in India and after PayPal tried so hard, only after that Indian government allowed PayPal to work but with some rules like, Persons in India cannot pay with PayPal balance Persons in India cannot hold cash in PayPal The balance should be transferred to linked bank account dailt. Without Pan card, no one will be allowed to have PayPal account. And other implications like max payment which can be received in a month. Your thoughts?

It is not PayPal's fault - is it?

@thesupersingh A private company can do nothing against the decision of a Government.

@thesupersingh If I understand you correctly, I don't think it's PayPal's fault. It's like how some sites recently took Paypal away as a paying method. That's the site's decision, not Paypal.

I think it's better to make aware of your national government. I hope everything will be fine there!

@thesupersingh Well, Paypal is not used directly in Nepal too. It's same as in your country.

@thesupersingh government did not able to keep control over black money on starting years of india now so much black money is made we cant even just erase that money because if we try to do that will effect people, companies, society nice example is -demonetization of money by modi

@ENGINEERdarshan i can never agree with that. Now same thing is happening with bitcoins. Government is a failure in all ways and due to that we need to suffer

There's must be a reason why the government has strict restrictions on Paypal. Here in my country, we love Paypal because of good reputation. And it's now being affiliated with different companies here.

@thesupersingh Haha Well if the Government says so there's nothing you can do about it but to obey. Just wait for the further announcement they might change their minds.
