Do you have a mate who likes the chase more than the prize?

Men are more known for this than women, but women can be included, too. Since I am a woman, I will speak of it from my perspective. Some men just love a good chase. The prize is fantastic until he catches it. Once he catches it, it loses value. When that happens, he can be very disrespectful. I have seen many women go through this. They are usually very frustrated. The question is, how do they deal with it?

That's why I heed the wisdom of asking, "why buy the cow when you can get the milk for free"?

I love that statement. I have been hearing it since I was very young, and it is true.

Some people just love the thrill of the chase more than what is at the end of it. When the chase is over they usually tend to move onto the next one. Like a cycle really. The way I’d deal with it is to just not put myself in that situation. Certain people actually encourage the chase though and like to be chased.

Sometimes we don't know that the person is like that until later.

Very good topic and for your kind information most of the men are like that . Men are also very caring , very loving and most of them are loyal too.Now the question is why does he act so after catching the prize??? It is very simple ....most men do not like to be dominated , which is the main reason for a man to lose interest in the PRIZE. Lesser the domination from women , more the love and care you can expect from a man...

It is really frustrating to undergo such a chasing game. It would be wiser to love oneself first before loving someone.

I think you need to change the prize. Instead of chasing after things that perish and diminish with time, seek a prize that does not diminish and has eternal value.
