Tomorrow Pongal festival is celebrated . It is actually a festival to thank SUN god for his helping farmers have good crops. In cities also it is celebrated by us by doing puja to SUN GOD. We cook sweet pongal and Pongal(salt) and share with others,

I think its related with other festival Makar sakranti or Maghi which we will have tomorrow as well
