Music can be a wonderful thing to help to enhance the mood you are in. In my experience, the type of music or style of music I listen to depends on my mood. So in my perspective, I feel like people do not listen or turn on music to change the mood, instead clarify the mood. In some cases, you get a better understanding of the feelings you are having by turning on a song and taking the time to sit and reflect on the mood or situation that caused that mood. Music can be soothing, calming, or some make you feel the rage. I enjoy music and listen every day, I think that having good positive music can enhance the positive during the day.

Music helps my mood and relieves stress. It depends on the kind of music though.

@resukill22 I like the oldies and worship music mostly, but I listen to all types if the tune and lyrics are nice. One of my favorites in recent times would be Ed Sheeran's "Thinking out Loud".

Yes, it can change our moods!! Listening to music directly influences the quality of our mood, or emotions. Our personal experiences probably tell us that there are all kinds of music for all kinds of moods and situations. We’ve felt the power of music first hand. We've all been moved by particular songs that spoke to us in specific circumstances. When we listen to music, it affects our subconscious mind. Lyrics, themes in songs and overall feelings convey a specific message to our subconscious especially when we listen often. If we feel lonely our sad, listening to upbeat music can be a natural mood booster. it can help to lessen what we are feeling. If we are happy, we want the world to know that we are happy by singing or listening to lively music. It even inspired us and motivated us to feel better.

Music is something that can change your day. It can make your mood happy again and will make you feel more alive. Sometimes even inspired and motivated to do something with your life and change it for the better. Music is a part of every person's life. Music can put families together, sisters and brothers. Mothers and fathers. Even Neighbors and Relatives. Music touches your soul and can make you appreciate what you have and make you want something you don't have. It brings up social problems around the world that will make people think an extra time before doing something wrong again. Although music has all of these positive qualities the most important thing is that music makes you happy. Music is the key.

Most of the time it can change my mood, but it depends on the mood itself. In the times of sadness, happy songs don't help that much, while sad songs with good, relatable, poetic lyrics, create a better understanding of that sadness or sorrow within me. Music usually creates euphoria in me. Good pop hits, great rock songs, alternative.

Yes, music changes my mood from being worn out and stress into a calm and relax feeling. I don't think I can live a day without music because listening to it is my only escape from everything. I would rather listen to music than listen to others people's blabs.

Yes, music has always been a big part of my life. I think one reason I listen to music is that I know it has a big impact on my mood. If I'm feeling any negative emotions such as anger, anxiety or sadness, I can turn on a song that expresses hope or happiness, such as my favorite gospel songs and notice a huge lift in my mood. On the other hand, if I listen to music that expresses sadness, I could end up feeling sad, depending on what the song is about and if it relates to me in any way.
