Tragic selfies

Last week here in Kenya, a university student drowned while trying to take a selfie on the banks of a river. Has there been such tragedies where you come from? I have seen people take selfies while buildings are burning down.
Elvis Keter was with three friends, a man and two ladies when he fell into the river and drowned on Friday evening.

In every country there are people who die due to selfie. I cannot understand how people can be so dumb.

The beaches close to where we live here have some dangerous spots. Tourists often came there taking pic. One was swept away suddenly by a wave. They never found the body of that young overseas student.

That is so sad. That is why we should all be cautious on where we take these photos.

That is sad that people disregard their safety to take a selfie. It is never that important.

A couple of the same incidents also happens in our country. Parents should always advise their children to be extra cautious when taking selfies. It's good to be excited when doing it but not so excited that it will take your own life.

Some things are common sense because a 23 year old person should know where to take a selfie and where not.

Why are these things happening? Some people are doing in too much. They take selfies everywhere they want. They are obsessed

No, luckily nothing like that has happened here. What a pity taking a photo cost him his life.
