Thanks for letting us know. We will know what to give to men. MIRROR with frame saying ..your hair is graying, you are balding, be honest you have too many wrinkles, those frown lines define you. Now...wonder if they will hang it in their rooms.

I'm obviously not a typical man. Everything about me is designed for low maintenance. Very closely cropped hair, I shave once a week and my wardrobe consists mainly of jeans and t-shirts.

You are right Alfredo, there are many vain macho men, but I see also plenty of women looking at themselves all the time in the mirror.

I know more women who are. One day at the gym a gal was in the yoga room posing in the mirror doing selfies. Her makeup was caked on and her hair done up. Obviously was not there to work out. An acquaintance who is 71 refuses to go anywhere without her makeup, hair done just so and expects others to compliment her and worse yet, be like her. It can be trying sometimes but being a distance from her is a good thing. Another at work is always prancing about looking for compliments and I wonder how she gets work done. Years ago I did have a boyfriend that had to blow dry his hair and have everyone feel his biceps. It didn't last long for me.

some definetly are-that's why i never dated jocks like some of my friends. if they weren't in the gym 8 hours a day,they were checking themselves out constantly.

I say it depends on the person rather than the gender. I've known men and women who can be pretty vain.

I can't really say if men are worse than women, certainly there are vain people of both sexes (and the ones who think they are the greatest, in general they are the least desirable).

I've always liked that song and found it accurate. I have seen where some men seem more vain than women.

This reminds me of the movie American Psycho. Yes, I think my fiance can be vain at times.

I can't make up my mind about this. I don't know a lot of vain men but I probably don't mix in the right circles.

Maybe because we would never equate vanity with men so that when we actually see vain men and it being a trend nowadays, it actually is a shocker cause we are not used to this? But yes, I know people, in fact, my two brothers have way more facial products than I have. They're not the ones who flex their muscles for everyone to see kind of vain though but yeah, that will be a very funny sight.

It is very true that men are in vain women of us. Almost every day I meet men who look very different. They are much more vain than us, they are not the normal men of the past. I want the normal man.

Hmmm, never had much to be vain about, dress very casually in retirement, jeans, t shirts, flannel shirts, trying to recall when I was young, even had hair, was pretty vain about that.

I didn't know that. I thought women are more vain than men.
