Now why you say you miss me?

I was always an emotional sort of a person who always values relationships to be higher than anything.
Still I never had many friends and those who I think to be my best friend never gave me a felling that they too think so about me.
I remember I had a colleague which became a good friend later on. We used to devote good time together in office as well as outside on weekends.
But then I was transferred to a new unit of the same organisation. We promised that we will remain in touch with each other but the time passed and he almost forgot me. I remember his birthday falls two days later than mine. I wished him but he didn't. I was upset as he forgot mine. And he admitted that he forgot but he said he still misses me but I am not convinced and didn't reply. I know he was just giving an excuse
. I feel it's because of the time we forgot each other but suddenly why is he missing me is a point.
Anyways now at least I don't miss him but he was a good guy and now he is not my friend anymore.
Do you had friends whom you lost with the time?

No, I never said I miss you buddy,
And I am sure you value your mangoes more than your real friends.
. I don't mind if you forget my birthday every year although I still remember yours. I say forget all about wishing on birthdays, after all they do nothing good but bring you closer to dooms day
. I know you will say the same after reading my post

It can be hard sometimes to stay in touch with friends. Mostly I've lost touch if we have moved away from each other.

@sjvg1976 It mostly always happens that once people move apart, they lose touch. This has always been the way for me.
