Good morning.Look like a snow storm tomorrow.
I saw this on the news and was so horrified that this is going on.
California couple abusing starving their children.
They were tied in chains.
Here is the information from one of the daily newspaper.

People like this should be thrown in prison, and the keys tossed away!

@amadeo Who in their right mind, could ever do something so cruel, to a child?

I heard about it and wrote about it on here. Parents that evil should not be able to reproduce. They don't deserve to be parents. I hope they get the full extent of punishment in the prison system.

Stories of abuse and neglect of children break my heart.
My husband and I lost our second child and were on the adoption list for years, and almost went the private route. Then there are people like this, lives should never be taken for granted or abused.

It is very sad. But this us why we shouldn't ever turn a blind eye. If our gut tells us there's something wrong, there probably is. At least now the 'children' can be helped and supported and some people will learn from their mistakes.

The story gets worse. The police are going to use cadaver dogs to search the property for at least one additional child. They are going to use DNA to see if all the children and parents are related to each other. Who knows? There are a lot of missing kids. Could some of these kids be missing from an early age? BTW, your link does not exist anymore.

I read that earlier this morning. It was horrifying. I hope the children get the care that they need in a good home and that the adult children get the services they need in order to be able to transition into functional adults. What a terrible way they had to live, and none of the neighbors noticed!

It’s just terrible. It said they couldn’t afford to feed them, ok... so why chain them up though? Why lock them away? Why mistreat them? Why not just do right by the children and phone social services to say they couldn’t care for them anymore? Instead of keeping them and treating them so inhumanely. Honestly just when you think you’ve seen and heard it all.... grrr makes me mad.
