Not A Chore.

Ironing clothes would be considered a household chore, but to me it is hardly a chore - because I love doing it. I iron almost everything - sheets, pillowcases, towels , underwear, nightwear - and I hate seeing wrinkled t-shirts.
Is there a particular household chore that you don't mind doing at all? - and what chore do you really hate doing - but it must be done? Dusting doesn't thrill me at all.

Dusting is probably the chore I dislike the most. It's never ending and I never feel like I accomplished anything when it's done. I haven't ironed in quite awhile as all my things go straight from the dryer to hangers. Normally I don't mind the rest of the chores relating to housework.

I haven't used my iron in twenty years but I do have one. I thought the wrinkled look is in style. All my clothes are on hangers and keeps everything looking ironed.
I use my vacuum to do the dusting. It's good enough for me. It has a brush attachment which makes it easier.
Probably, washing the bathtub is a pain but it has to be done.

In the house, I'm in charge of everthing that breaks down so long as I could fix it, if not I supervise who ever is hired to fix it. I don't do house chores, the ladies of the house do it and we hire house help from time to time. If there is a house chore that I do and enjoy, its cooking.

@Kandae11 at times if I have time to spare I act as assistant to do the chopping and washing plates and utensils that would no longer be used in the cooking process, I change place with my mom and or my wife when I'm the master chef lol. I belong to a traditional home where women's work is seperate from what the men does although we give support to one another when needed.

@louievill Giving support when needed is commendable.

Though I can iron, Anne has a fancy one set up in her studio/sewing room and when I have a shirt come out of the dryer too wrinkled, she can press it quickly. I hang up many things direct from the dryer too.

@Kandae11 I see, that does make a difference. Here we get so much rain that things would never dry.

I hate cleaning the bathroom, and the truth is I don't like cleaning at all, but I do it anyway.

There is nothing loveable about household chores. However, there is that twice a year thing when I suddenly like rearranging furniture so it feels like I am in a brand new bedroom. I would work all day and non -stop you'd think I'm high on something.

Hello @Kandae11
Hope you are having a good 2018 so far!
Ironing is not something we have much of, however, no cleaning chore bothers me. If it has to be done, I'm willing to do it.

I am like you. I find ironing very relaxing and iron sheets, pillowcases, linen dishtowels, cotton nightgowns, (seersucker is cooler and doesn't wrinkle). and clothes that don't go to the cleaners, but not my underwear! I strongly dislike dusting, but down here, it's easy, breezy. Our condo is so small compared to our house in Connecticut and has less chatchkes - bric brac.

@thedevilinme I am not Jamaican, I am Guyanese - and I don't know if you are aware, but Guyana recently discovered the potential for millions of barrels of oil. By the way - I am much too bright and talented to have to resort to washing anyone's underwear but my own.

I love cleaning the kitchen - no matter what the individual tasks are. For whatever reason I like an organized, clean kitchen at all times. The chore I hate doing the most would have to be dusting. We only have hardwood floors here, so that includes the floors too. We get so much dust everywhere and there are too many nooks and crannies to take care of!!

I hate dusting our home, it collects really fast. I don't mind washing and drying dishes, or cleaning the kitchen. I actually like cleaning our bathrooms!
