Dying of Embarrassment

Last night at dinner, I had a martini, extra dry, straight up, Bombay Sapphire, with blue cheese stuffed olives.
My husband took a several photos of me on his phone. He likes to do that. Lol! However, he isn't savvy enough to text them to me, so I took his phone and without being clearheaded, all of them were texted to Dr. Jay, our cute new, single neighbor.
I didn't know until he responded, "Beautiful."
He must have thought I was sending him photos of me in different poses!!!!
We are going to his place for fun, food, and football in a few minutes. I have a lot of explaining and apologizing to do. I'm soooooo embarrassed!!! I'm sure his sister, who I love and will be there, will side with my stupidity.
Have you ever done something like that? Do tell!
Pardon my drunk look, and I'll see you later!

Embarrassment is an under statement. Wonder what Dr. Jay felt looking at you in different poses. Thankfully you will get time to explain.
We all have such moments but at this moment I cannot recall.

oh my. many times. i am quite dense at times. many years ago, i called my boyfriend back when we had rotary phones and no caller ID and not realizing his dad was at home and sounded much like him, I proceeded to say some pretty private things to him. suddenly he said "this isn't R, it's his dad. I will call him to the phone. haha!" I was so embarrassed, i hung up! sure he would never speak to me again. later he came by and laughed like the dickens at me. he said no worry, his dad knew it was a mistake in voice. i learned after that to make sure who i was talking to.

Oh my . . . blame it on the martini ! Last year, my little son's classmate's grandmother told me that her granddaughter used her phone to text her dad (who doesn't live with her nor is in the same state) I love you, I love you, I love you like a zillion times. Grandma was mortified to learn the text wasn't going to dad . . . it went to a neighbor !

One of my biggest fears is that I will send the wrong photo or the wrong text to the wrong person and really get myself in a pickle. I mean, I don't have anything to hide, but sometimes embarrassing photos or texts are best left to the person they were intended for!
And next time you drunk text, send me photos! LOL

@DianneN So...looking ahead to February and March, any good weekends that work best for you? I'm out of commission the first two weekends in February, but have a few free weekends coming up after that.

Oh that is funny, but understandable.
Bless your husband - that is so cool that he likes to be "photographer".
I don't think you look drunk. I think you look fantastic!
You totally rock that coral pink color.
Ps. if you like you can text Dr.Jay some photos of me lol

@FayeHazel Enough is enough. I usually have to delete every photo he takes.
Lol! You sell yourself short! He is fun, very touchy feely, and cute, and we're going out to dinner with him the first Saturday in February with his sister. He said that he'll drive and wants me to sit in front with him, be still my heart!

I was hoping you'd see this. LOL! My husband is a fanatic about those photo taking sessions. I could clobber him! Thanks so much, but I was loaded then.
I will start texting him one photo after another of you. He is so adorable in person. All the women here are in love with him.

@DianneN I think that's awesome of your hubby. I would love to be "model" for my significant other. :-) Well and who can blame him with such a photogenic model?
Lol! I'll send some of me in swim wear then.... no.... wait.... let's not scare him.
He sounds like an enjoyable person to be around. And he's cute.
