merenda cena!

Its a dark, cloudy afternoon and its raining a bit. Here am I grilling some corn on the cob while doing MyLot on the side. Hehe I love my grilled corn with melted butter on top. Its a late afternoon merenda for us. Merenda cena!

In Italy we call merenda the mid-afternoon snack, cena is only the last meal of the day, call it supper or dinner.

@pitsipeahie Merenda for us is something very light that is eaten no later than 5 PM.

We call a late afternoon - early evening meal, (well not necessarily a 'meal' because its not full meal but just a small portion of a snack), Merenda cena. We might not actually eat dinner anymore because we're already full hehe
