Flowers given to me by a boyfriend late in the relationship or not o the first date tend to represent as an hourglass for the rest of the relationship. You can watch them die before your eyes. No matter how much effort you put in to try to keep them alive by constantly changing the water or cutting the stems, there is no avoiding the final destination- dead in the trash.
