Cat Logic 101: Part One. You spend a near neigh fortune on cat toys...you have all kinds of catnip filled toys in every imaginable shape, from banana shaped ones, apple ones, mice, you also have a Turbo Scratcher, a tunnel toy, a gazillion balls and all of which you trip and fall over from time to time. But what does one's cat prefer to play with? Old bottle caps, empty toilet roll containers, pens, oh and of course don't forget that empty box, which one's cat prefers over that expensive cat bed one had gotten.

I gave up trying to understand my cat and just do as the master pleases! I'm just her humble servant.

My cat does play with a lot of his toys..but he is just as happing with a stray piece of plastic coated wire he finds on the floor. He loves how it scoots and how it flies through the air when mommy throws it...fun indeed!

Cats are so cool. So self involved and independent. I think that dogs are just the opposite.

I've always stood up to my cats, but they still knew how to get what they wanted from me. I've only had one cat I had since kittenhood. The others were all left by tenants who moved or belonged to neighbors and visited me frequently. I don't have the time or the space to bring a cat into my home as a pet, but I enjoy having them visit as friends. Most of the ones I've interacted with found lizards were great toys. And mice. They were all outdoor cats.

When i had cats, i would always keep a box with paper in side from newspapers, magazines junk mail and they go in and shred it. When itfilled up, i just rhrew it away and put out a new one. Oh and a pill bottle with one pill left in it, they liked that sound.

Cats love boxes and paper bags.
