The door of death swings open more often as we grow older, it seems

There have been many people dying around me as I grow older. It is quite depressing for me in its way.
I asked myself then this question.
Why is death necessary here, so much so, that even Jesus Christ had to go through with it here as well, on this Earth, when he was here?
And I answered myself like this.
Death is both an open and a closing door into love.
When someone close dies for you near you, you glimpse into this opened door, for a moment, but when it closes again, you then realise that the only way through it is to go through it yourself, and so we all need to do this, but really love is the house to which this door is attached, and God is the doorman, not the devil.
What do you think the reason for death is?
The obvious answer is, of course, overpopulation. We could not all live here without death.

You need to pin yourself to love to see its message showing through.

@jstory07 Yes, rivers run down to the ocean, and disappear into them, only to be rained back on mountaintops, for the procedure to start, all over again.
Life certainly does have such cycles, it appears, but what about God, and our soul, if they do exist, are they perhaps subject to such cycles too?
Most people think that God has existed forever, unchanging in his way, and that he just creates cycles, for others to ride, to pardon the poor pun.

@innertalks God certainly has kept strict standards.
We may be at the apex of creation here but we can be be at a much lower rung of the pecking order later.
The cycle of life seems to go on and on at god's pleasure of course - siva

Yes, some people believe that we are reborn again and again, but if this was so, is God continually making new souls also, otherwise how could we explain, that the population is forever growing more, and more, and more?
If it's just the same souls being reborn again, and again, into new bodies, well that wouldn't fully explain it, especially seeing that we all live longer these days than before too, on average.

@Shiva49 The light likes to keep us in the dark, until we learn to shine our own light, or his light through ourselves, I guess.

I guess there are things that we cannot fathom, that just leads to more and more question. Though Religion and Science attempts to explain.

Yes, that's true, religion and science have the same goals in that respect. Maybe though, it's just our mind that cannot fathom this out, as it doesn't reach deep enough. Our hearts already know these things, and when we come across answers to our mind's questions, our hearts usually can feel/know the answers as correct or not.
