It was very hectic for me and my siblings to survive since the suddenly departure of my mom on the planet earth, life was not worth living. I could curse accident as if accident would die that day. Dad could not even wait for one full year before marrying another wife. That was the beginning of our sorrow, it was as if dad's mind was shifted or manipulated from us, and focus fully on his new wife. We suffered it for years. Paying school fees for me is a case, I usually returned back to university with nothing. I drank garri, till it began to affects my sight and yet dad did nothing about it. I never paid rent bill through out my staying in school, I keeps on squatting with friends and they changed my name to chief squatter. No uncle nor aunt to assist you or run to. Death is really a bad occurrence, I don't even wants to wished my enemies what undergoes in life.

The son of King David says--as long as you and those who surround you are at peace with each other--just be grateful you can enjoy your stay here. Life is just a long repetitive process. But being depressed about the fleeting nature of life is just another vain waste of time and breath. Take delight in eating and drinking, to be merry and find work that you can do comfortably and happily. If you fail to seize the day like this, all you have are illusions—pursuing money for its own sake, or pointlessly struggling and competing to do better than the next person, to give a few of the examples he uses. You could wind up trapped in a glass case of emotion. Ecclesiastes says that you need to accept that God is far beyond the world where we live and where we'll never have a particularly great idea about what's going on. Life, when you try to understand it intellectually, never is going to make perfect sense. Yet, this frees you to take advantage of the moment and appreciate the simple things.

One thing I know is that you survived through those challenges. So, raise your head high. Remember that one day you will see your mother again (Acts 24:15)

Life seemed to be quite unfair with you. But you are strong and have survived. Now be positive and take full charge of your life. Treat it well.
